AS FROM THE WEEK COMMENCING THE  7TH OCTOBER 2019 YOUR URGENT SAME DAY PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS FOR MEDICATION i.e. MEDICATION THAT YOU HAVE COMPLETELY RAN OUT OF  WILL NEED TO BE HANDED IN TO THE RECEPTIONIST AT THE PRACTICE BY 2.00PM.

ANY URGENT PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS RECEIVED AFTER THIS TIME WILL BE DECLINED AND YOU WILL HAVE TO CONTACT NHS 111 FOR YOUR URGENT MEDICATION.

ROUTINE PRESCRIPTION REQUESTS CAN STILL BE REQUESTED IN THE NORMAL WAY.

Violence Policy

The NHS operate a zero tolerance policy with regard to violence, aggression, intimidation and abuse, and the practice has the right to remove patients from the list with immediate effect in order to safeguard practice staff, patients and other persons.

Violence in this context includes actual or threatened physical violence or verbal abuse (including aggressive, intimidating, and general abusive behaviour) which leads to fear for a person’s safety. In this situation we may contact the police and / or notify the patient in writing of our intention to remove from the list.

To avoid such situations please be considerate to staff and fellow patients, and please refer to the Patient Charter
